Russell and Katy Perry to move in new house

British comedian, actor and presenter Russell intends to
set up home with US pop singer Katy Perry in the four-storey 1920s house on The Summit estate in Los Angeles
that he recently purchased for $3.5million.
Boasting an outdoor swimming pool , four bedrooms and four bathrooms, the house is more a family home than a bachelor pad –
a fact not lost on the 34-year-old StTrinian’s star.

“I want to be a father and be beautiful,” he says.
And of Katy he says: “This is it”

Although Katy acknowledges that their relationship has gone at a fast pace, she doesn’t see it as a matter for concern.
“When I find a partner who is my teammate, I’m not going to play by any rules,” she says.
“I’m just going to go with my heart. Why wait?”

Shortly after the couple started dating, a friend of Russell revealed:
“Russell has fancied Katy for ages and was like an excited schoolboy after they got together.”
In fact, just days before the MTV Awards ceremony, Russell, referring to a line in Katy’s song I Kissed A Girl,
wrote on Twitter:
“Katy Perry is moving into the hotel room opposite. I’m stealing a room service uniform.
A female one, obviously – ‘Cherry ChapStick delivery.’”

After they met, Russell sent Katy a love poem via email requesting that she send a poem back.
The singer promptly responded by sending him a photo of herself with the word “poem” written across her breasts.
A week or so later Russell whisked California-born Katy off to Thailand.
Katy confirmed their romantic break with a tweet:
“After a week in magical Thailand I’m ready to face the real world again.
Been schooled on Morrissey, Oscar Wilde and Peter Sellers… inspired.”

Russell, a recovering alcoholic and a former heroin and sex addict, who can claim model Kate Moss
among his former flames, now has eyes for only one girl. Just before Christmas he revealed that his notorious hot tub,
which featured in many saucy anecdotes on his Radio 2 show – from which he resigned in October 2008
following a scandal involving lewd messages left on the answering machine of veteran actor Andrew Sachs –
was no longer operational.
“Tonight I turned off my famous hedonistic hot tub,” he tweeted.
“A monumental event. I did it for climate change. In every sense.”

Russell’s charm has not only won over Katy, but her devoutly Christian parents, too, who have been married
for 30 years. Katy’s father Keith Hudson has said he is “happy” about the engagement and her mum Mary
has been similarly charmed by the Forgetting Sarah Marshall actor.

The couple intend to live together in Russell’s new $3.5million home in LA, where he is pursuing his career as a film actor.
His Hampstead bachelor pad is now up for sale.
With four bedrooms, the LA house has plenty of space for a family, which they are both hoping for eventually.
Says Russell: “I want to be a father and be beautiful.”
