The war of words continues between Gossip singer Beth Ditto
and Katy Perry over a row concerning Perry’s hit I Kissed A Girl.
Lesbian Ditto recently said Perry’s hit was ‘offensive to gay culture’
as she accused the US singer of ‘faking gay’.
Perry hit back at super-sized Beth, branding her public attack as ‘tacky’.
Not settling there, lesbian Ditto has hit back at Perry once again
continuing her tirade:
‘I don’t care if she writes a song about kissing a girl,
but there are people who kiss girls in their everyday life,
and it’s not as easy as just kissing a girl and everyone loving you.

It’s not about Katy Perry. It’s about this song and its innocence on her part.
To Katy, it’s just this party song. But as a gay person, it’s like,
‘Oh, of course this straight person singing about kissing a girl
goes straight to Top 40 and people buy this record.
Who can give a fuck about real gay people?’
That’s what’s really painful about the whole thing.’
Katy Perry has revealed that she hits on beautiful and attractive women
but insists she’s not lesbian.
Katy, the ”I Kissed a Girl” singer expressed a desire to flirt with British supermodel
Agyness Deyn but says would never go ”all the way”.
“I have talked a lot about wanting to kiss girls, but am I a lesbian? No.
It’s just a kiss. I would like to get it on with Agyness Deyn,”
Contactmusic quoted her, as telling Britain’s The Sunday Times newspaper.
“She’s a little punk-rock Lolita. Beautiful face, beautiful shoulders.
I look at her and I think, ”Ooh, I’m so turned on. What’s happening?”
The singer revealed that she goes to gay clubs to flirt with lesbians.
“I get hit on when I go to gay clubs, but I hit on women too.
I’m attracted to cool, alternative women. But
I’d only ever have a drink with them. I’m such a tease!”
And she thinks its normal for teenagers to indulge in homosexual trysts.
“It’s a girl thing. If you sat a group of teenage girls down and asked them,
they would be like,
”Yeah, duh, I’ve kissed my best friend before. What’s the big deal?” ”
